Third Chapter

Third Chapter

If the first chapter of your life is your childhood then I would say that period ends with the passing of your twenties. At that point, you feel adult like even if you are really adult-lite. You have all of life ahead of you, preparing to make your own decisions, choose your own path.

The second chapter would have to begin more or less with the thirtieth year. Mine began with me being married and nine months pregnant. More choices would come before me, the winding road had really just begun. Two children, a steadfast partner, jobs, careers, homes, the years would carry me ever forward. Ups, downs, joys and disappointments, ever onward with life.

Which brings me to the Third Chapter. Children are grown humans with lives and paths of their own. Careers have peaked and fallen away. Not for lack of interest but the frustrations came to outweigh the sense of accomplishment and what was left was a need to simply move on. So here I am. In this space I intend to chart my observations, through photos and some words…places and people, things worth remembering and reflecting upon.
